Daisyiona Howlett is a Comparison Coach, serial entrepreneur, mental health and wellness advocate, and a published author. She is the author of Worthy I am Journal, a self-discovery journal that targets young women to stop them from being prisoners to their thoughts, help them fight through their insecurities and self-doubts, and start living their dream. The Journal seeks to create a new line of thinking that, in turn, creates an environment where women no longer worry, blame themselves, or feel guilty for taking out time to take care of themselves first. The Worthy I AM is for every woman and her journey.

Daisyiona Howlett holds a degree in Psychology from Cypress College and is currently working on obtaining other certifications within the mental health field. When she is not working, Daisyiona enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, trying out new hobbies, and practicing Jiu-Jitsu.

Daisyiona attributes her growth to her parents — two diligent people who always taught her the importance of giving everything you do 100% of your effort. She describes her father as someone who regularly preaches the importance of education, which turned into her love for knowledge, growth, and learning. She also learned the value of working hard from one of the most hard working women she knows, her mother. Her sister, Chrysanthemum, is also a fantastic role model who taught and showed her the importance of humility and courage. Combining all these with her unwavering faith in God, according to Daisyiona, is what got her to where she is today.

Daisyiona admits that even though overcoming her mindset at times is one of her biggest challenges. Another challenge is making sure she is surrounded by people who inspire and motivate her to become a better version of herself; this, according to her, has continued to drive her to continually improve on who she is towards becoming who she wants to be.

Daisyiona targets young women who go about their days wearing a smile but internally feel alone and isolated. Primarily, 18–25 millennial women whom she describes as a population demographic she loves to engage. Daisyiona hopes to alter society’s expectation of women as people who should take care of everybody without paying any attention to herself. The woman who feels lonely in her thoughts, but she always has to show herself to others to carry everyone on her shoulders.

She describes her services as using her coaching knowledge and techniques to help other women stop comparing themselves with other women. Being someone who used to compare herself with other women, Daisyiona considers herself a perfect fit for this role. On her plans and where she sees herself in the next five years, Daisyiona hopes to follow up her recent journal publication with an expanded coaching program where her clients learn self-care, especially in one-on-one sessions.

Daisyiona believes that to find success, one must never give up on themselves and their dreams, even if sometimes it looks like people do not understand what you are doing or why you are doing them. After self-discovery, the most important thing is to stay true to one’s dreams and path, and eventually, success would come.
