Hip-hop Artist Matt Corman Commits to Release New Single Every Friday Until the Year Ends
Independent hip-hop artist Matt Corman is fast becoming an impressive and the most sought after personality in the music industry today as he commits to release a new single every Friday starting last August 28, 2020. He values the freedom he gets to enjoy when writing, producing and recording his own songs as his music remains authentic and unique, reflecting his innermost perceptions and experiences in life.
Despite having been invited by several famous big labels in the industry to join their roster of successful artists, Matt Corman still opts to remain independent, believing that he has mastered the formula in promoting his music after achieving more than 20 millions streams on different platforms.
“Being independent, I am the machine that drives my business forward. I have complete ownership of my masters, distribution, publishing and brand direction. I have built this business from the ground up with zero help. I have toured the United States alongside big time artists as well as sold out three of my own headline shows in Boston, MA. From growing this brand, I have been able to quit my day job and focus full time on my music and brand,” Corman says.
Some of Corman’s songs have been used by popular YouTube personalities such as FaZe Rug and NELK. He had the privilege of doing a tour with Post Malone when White Iverson first came out. Additionally, he has done tours with Aaron Carter and several shows together with Sammy Adams. One of his most notable achievements as a hip-hop artist is being known as the first alumni to perform at the Homecoming Concert for Southern New Hampshire University, impressing and entertaining a crowd of 3,000.
Aside from being a music artist, Matt Corman is also a very promising and strategic entrepreneur. He founded the brand Make It Happen and has grown quite a huge fan base over a short period of time. More than just selling hip apparel such as sweatshirts and hoodies, Make It Happen is Corman’s way of showing people that they, too, have the ability to find ways to make their dreams work just as he did no matter what the obstacles may be.
“I realized my fans really connected with my authenticity and transparency with my brand. As in, I know what it’s like to not have the resources but I promise you can find a way to make things work. Make It Happen became the slogan I kept using when I hit roadblocks, fittingly so I turned it into my brand. I love being able to connect with my listeners on a personal level and become more than just a musician they turn on. But, rather a beacon of hope they can count on to help get through in tough situations,” Corman adds.
In the coming years, Matt Corman is eyeing to develop his own record label. He also dreams of making it to the Billboard Charts’ Top 10 list and even making it to number one if possible. Moreover, he sees himself helping aspiring artists in the future, guiding them on successfully navigating in the music industry without compromising their artistry and personality. Creating a promising platform where artists can be discovered is also something that he wants to establish someday. This platform will connect artists with song producers, engineers, and videographers.
Despite his success, Corman is mostly about giving back to the community and looks forward to one day visiting underdeveloped communities in and out of the country and supporting initiatives that will make their way of living sustainable.
